Meet The Doctor
Meet Dr. Joe Gunasekera, DDS
Dr. Joe was raised in Ohio and lived in Columbus for 12 years where he attended The Ohio State University for undergrad and dental school. He graduated in 2018 and has been practicing dentistry since in private practice settings as well as free clinics, federally qualified health centers, and nursing homes. He has a passion for providing quality dental care as well as serving the underprivileged.
Dr. Joe’s experience in different settings has impressed upon him the need for a dental community. He looks forward to connecting with patients to understand their needs and create customized treatment plans that work for their life and dental needs.
Dr. Joe is passionate about education and regularly attends continuing education courses to provide the highest level of quality care to his patients. He is currently a member of the Marysville Dental Study Club.
Dr. Joe lives in Richwood with his wife Amanda and their son Lucas. In his spare time, you can find Dr. Joe gardening, walking around Richwood Lake, or attending one of his son’s sporting events. Each year he tries (and sometimes succeeds) to grow something new.
